WEBINAR ANNOUNCEMENT: EMPLOYEES AND CRISIS COMMUNICATION

I have never done this before, send a promotional item to the HC+T Briefing mailing list, and if you really don't like it, I won't do it again. (Just let me know.) In the meantime, I still will never share this list with a third party, so you can be sure you'll never get pitched by someone other than me.

But I do want to let you know about a webinar I'm hosting on Friday that addresses a problem I have found in most organizations: employees who are unprepared to communicate during a crisis (whether it's with their online communities or their business relationships) and companies that aren't considering employees as part of a stakeholder audience during a crisis.

Even among the few companies that do turn to employees to help advocate on the company's behalf during a crisis, none prepare employees for the kinds of conversations that might ensue, including some pretty vile blowback from trolls. (I'll share a great case study that just happened to a well-known organization.)

This webinar would be worth your while if you work in internal communications, corporate PR, the crisis team, or Human Resources.

It's a mere $89 to participate. You'll have access to the video replay and you'll be able to ask questions during the session. The webinar is scheduled for noon Eastern this Friday, October 7. I hope you'll join me.
